Fatuma Issa Alodi is 70 years old, she is taking care of her disable daughter Aloshira Mahad Issa and her three grandchildren. She fled from Afmadow, on the back of donkey carts. She collects firewood for sale for living and depends mainly on humanitarian aid.
When in Afmadow she wasnÕt allowed by militias to collect firewood and was then forced to leave.
Due to this and growing hunger and instability she was forced to flee. In the future she hopes she can put the grandchildren in school. She thinks Somalia is doing better today than 10 years ago and hopes peace will arrive in her country.
